This cupboard housing dogs below was comissioned by Robert Stigwood for Barton Manor, the old Home farm to Osbourne House, Queen Victoria's home on the Isle of Wight. Tim Wood designed the kitchen and pantry in a traditional English style and this cupboard was part of the pantry. The grooving at the base of the cupboard, below the dogs, was to allow ventilation from the boiler that was situated just behind this cupboard. We also supplied Robert Stigwood with items for all five bathrooms.
